Ardmore's neighborhood parks are busy with activity throughout the entire year. The parks are easily accessible from any location in the community. A Veteran's Memorial Monument is located near by.

Take the walking tours of the old historic areas and see some great old buildings including the Carter County Courthouse and the beautiful old church shown below.

 

Ardmore is next to the Arbuckle Mountains, an important landform in the south central United States, and it is also  near both Lake Murray and Lake Texoma on the Texas-Oklahoma border. Visitors come into the area each month looking for adventure and fun! They find it and come back often.

The Gene Autry Museum - Centered around the legendary cowboy and movie star. It also contains other memorabilia from other cowboy stars in that area. Located 12 miles northeast of Ardmore.

Tivoli Theater - Enjoy live entertainment at this historic, restored theater located at 201 West Main.

Tucker Tower Nature Center - Sits on a point much like a lighthouse. It is located in governor Murray's summer retreat.
